Setting up your Plantronics CS Series Headset
  1. Unplug the coiled receiver cord from your phone base (detach the handset from the jack at the base end of your phone).
  2. Plug the flat black connector cord that is already plugged into your Plantronics CS Headset System base into the jack where you just unplugged your telephone handset.
  3. Plug the loose coiled receiver cord into the base of your Plantronics CS Headset System. The jack is located below the headset base facing forward, allowing you to easily answer and end the phone without use of the headset.
  4. Plug the included AC/DC adapter into the bottom of your Plantronics CS Headset System base, and then into the wall.

If you've tried the above without success, please call our Headset Advisors at 1-800-432-3738. We will happily help you get it working.

Setting up your Plantronics HL10 Handset Lifter

Attach your HL10 Automated Handset Lifter to the base of your phone, underneath the handset, using the included stickies. Then plug the wire on the HL10 into the remaining slot on the bottom of your Plantronics CS Headset System base.

How your caller hears you: Outgoing Microphone Volume

The master control for this is the A-B-C-D switch located on the underside of the wireless system. A is the quietest, D is the loudest. Within each letter you can fine tune using the + and - arrows on the back of the headset charging base.

How you hear the caller: Incoming Speaker Volume

The master control for this is the 1-2-3-4 or 1-2 switch located on the back of the charge base. 1 is the loudest, 2 or 4 is the quietest. You can fine tune within each number by using the appropriate control on your headset microphone.

Compatibility Dial

This is the dial located on the side of the base and looks like a black plastic screw. Make sure that the #1 is lined up with the ridges sticking out on the right hand side.

Intellistand Switch

This switch is located on the side of the base. It has one bar at the top and two bars at the bottom that look like an equal sign. This switch determines the way your headset turns on. When in the up position towards one bar, the headset will turn on and off by pressing the silver talk button located on the ear piece. When in the down position towards the two bars, the headset will turn on by taking it out of the charging base.

If you have any questions at all, please call us at 1-800-HEADSETS (1-800-432-3738) and we will happily assist you.
